Equine Assisted Learning

Interacting with a horse is a fantastic metaphor for how you interact with others and with life itself. Their sensitivity to non-verbal stimulus gives them an amazing ability to read people and reflect these emotional states, offering observable and physical feedback. They offer unconditional and pure reactions to your emotions. Horses very accurately sense a person's level of trust, confidence, awareness, and interpersonal skills. The way clients interact and react with a horse is very similar to the way they interact and react to their peers, colleagues, customers, work groups and their own families! Horses mirror back our emotions -- they don't lie and can't over-think your real emotions, so they recognize incongruence between behavior and emotion, telling the true story.

No riding or horse experience is necessary. EAL is not a "riding activity." Equine Assisted Learning is an experiential, non-judgmental learning activity that leads to a remarkable self-awareness and insight into how we communicate, solve problems, handle situations, achieve goals, develop relationships, live our life, deal with boundaries, and how we are inspired to change.

Our experience has been that insights and results are gained in considerably less time than traditional office therapy. Very quickly, patterns of learned behavior are revealed that either enhance or hinder your ability to be effective, happy, and authentic.
